Senior Electrical Estimator – Phoenix Metro

Andrews Electrical Inc., is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse commercial and industrial projects, including ground-up construction and tenant improvements (TI). If you’re experienced with estimating software like McCormick and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare accurate and competitive bid proposals for commercial and industrial projects.
• Simultaneously manage multiple bids to meet required deadlines.
• Interpret construction drawings and documentation to develop detailed estimates.
• Conduct site visits and job walks as needed to ensure scope alignment.
• Collaborate with suppliers to assess material costs and availability.
• Prepare bid packages with pricing breakdowns and supporting documentation.
• Support project managers and field staff with change orders, as-builts, and closeout documents.
• Ensure all estimates comply with current NEC codes and standards.
• Maintain an organized and up-to-date record of all bids and pricing.

What You Bring

• Solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Proficiency in Excel and estimation software (Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, CAD tools).
• Strong reading skills for construction documents and electrical plans.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Experience coordinating permit acquisition and electrical inspections is a plus.
• Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Proven experience using McCormick Estimating Software.
